Since many of the products we sell are handmade, we cannot guarantee that they will always be exactly the same as the one pictured in the photo. Payment

atelier portugal is the brand name of Blue door atelier and there customers can choose between the following payment methods: Throught Stripe via online order in our website or if you contact us by mail we accept Bank transfer or you can pay directly on delivery at our Atelier in Matosinhos . Orders that are not paid within three business days will be canceled.
We are a family owned and operated business. Payments by bank transfer will only be considered valid by sending proof of payment by email (functionality that most e-banking systems provide) and after good collection. If the transfer is made at a bank counter or at an ATM (ATM) it is essential to send the receipt confirming the transfer (for example, through a scan or digital photograph of the receipt). All items available at the atelier portugal store have marked the sales price with VAT included at the legal rate in force and excluding shipping costs. If you live outside the European Union, please note that your country's customs services may charge you additional customs fees. Retention of title clause: As the seller, Atelier Portugal Door retains ownership of the goods sold until full payment is made. In the case of non-payment of the full value of the items within 15 days of their availability, Atelier Portugal Door has the right to put them back on sale.

Delivery

We are a family owned and operated business and just at the beginning of the online adventure. Very soon we will be able to offer shipment conditions but meanwhile please send us an email and we will arrange a solution for each case.

Due to the new reality that the country and the world go through, all orders may suffer delays in their deliveries. We appreciate your further understanding.
Delivery Guarantee: in the event of loss of registered shipments, Atelier Portugal do not undertakes to reimburse the customer for the total value of his order. In the event that the order is returned to the sender because a new delivery with MRW was not arranged in due time, due to the customer being absent at the address, not answering the cell phone or responding to email, the reshipment will only be done upon a new payment of the shipping costs .
Atelier portugal cannot be held responsible for any customs duties and restrictions on the entry of products in some destinations. It is up to the customer to check with the local import authorities which additional procedures are necessary.
Stock break: customers will be refunded in full the amount of items that cannot be sent to them due to stock out.

Return Policy

Right of free withdrawal The customer has the right to terminate the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days of the day on which the customer or a third party appointed by him, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods ( or the last good, in the case of several goods ordered by the customer in a single order and delivered separately).
The client can exercise his right of free resolution through any unequivocal declaration of resolution, communicated by any means susceptible of proof.

We point out that the right of free withdrawal within the deadline is considered to be exercised when the declaration of withdrawal is sent before the deadline mentioned above.
Exceptions to the right of free withdrawal
It is not possible to exercise the right of free termination of the contract for the following products:
- Goods made according to customer specifications or clearly customized;

Effects of free resolution
In the event of termination of the contract, all payments made, including delivery costs, will be refunded to the customer (except for additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping method offered by us), without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of the customer's decision to terminate the contract. We will make these refunds using the same payment method the customer used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, the customer does not incur any costs as a result of such refund. You must return the goods or deliver them to Blue Door Atelier, Unipessoal Lda., Rua Dr. José Ventura, 83 - 4450-172 Matosinhos, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of the free resolution of the contract.

It is considered that the deadline is respected if the goods are returned before the expiry of the 14-day period. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide proof of the shipment of the goods, whichever comes first. The customer will be held responsible for the depreciation of the goods resulting from handling that exceeds what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Warranty
Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 67/2003, of 8 April, amended by Decree-Law no. 84/2008, of 21 May, in case of non-conformity of the asset with the contract, which appears in the within two years from the date of delivery of the good, the customer can request its repair or replacement (exchange) or even the appropriate price reduction or the termination of the contract (return).
The costs will be borne by the seller. In order to exercise his rights, the customer must report the lack of conformity to the seller within two months of the date on which he detected it.
